I want to apologise for how long v0.5.3 is taking. I am tackling core challenges in the codebase and going through some big refactors. It is normal and part of the process, but it is a time consuming step with less visible day-to-day progress.
It is what lets me consolidate the foundations for the features coming next: livestreaming, better tracking, more robust calibration, a more stable and less buggy app, and more.
A lot is happening in parallel too. I have trained a very promising AI model for football/soccer tracking, on par with leading commercial autocam systems. And for the past few months we have been working on an affordable, high-quality hardware solution that we are very excited to share with you soon.

I´m really looking forward to it! Could you maybe explain how the livestreaming will be working? i´m looking to build my own setup, but i´m unsure about the hardware (like using my old iphones with camo (if thats possible) or buying 2 new USB kameras etc.).
I already tried the reco-gui-v0.5.3, but i cant use that at all because i cant build the needed DLL´s with cargo (like gstreamer for livestreaming etc.), so i cant test my setups
That all sounds great. I was thinking about purchasing some cameras to try Reco out - do you think this hardware solution is coming soon enough for it to be worth holding off for?
